These are wooden cooking/ serving spoons (called a mwiko in Kenya) that were hand carved by one of our suppliers, in Kenya. They have some weight to them (0.51 lbs and that is both spoons on the scale). This set is 100% biodegradable and made of nothing but East African wood. They will easily blend into your kitchen aesthetic and contribute to endless dishes for no less than 15 years. You can do more than serve salad with them. Do not be afraid to cook or serve more than salad with them. Make them yours today or gift them to a loved one. Measurements: 13" long and 3.5" at the widest point (the scoop area of the spoon) and the handle is 1.5" thick. The mwikos are a mix of black and brown tones. This design can also hang in your pantry or elsewhere. None of our cooking utensils have been dyed or glazed. If you have any additional concerns or questions, please text or WhatsApp us: +17656060777.
