The Jukurrpa scented candle is made from light pink hand-blown glass dotted with oval designs formed from multicolored inserts. The patterns are placed randomly on the glass, making the object totally unique. In Aboriginal culture, Jukurrpa represents the time of creation, when the ancestors created the world and its flora and fauna. This period is at the heart of Aboriginal paintings, which depict Australia’swide-open spaces and sacred places such as rivers and mountains like maps.
